Rev up your marketing game with Marketing Campaigns from Dynamics CRM

Planning a marketing campaign is a tedious task. But it doesn’t have to be. With Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, creating and executing a successful marketing campaign has never been easier. Dynamics Marketing Campaigns help you build targeted marketing campaigns for your clients and potential clients. It not only provides you the option to create a targeted marketing campaign but also tracks the expenses and results of these campaigns or events.

Marketing campaigns form the core of marketing strategy for businesses and with a handy tool such as Microsoft Dynamics that helps you figure out the expenses of the campaign, results, and other activities related to the campaign, you can convert your campaign success into meaningful reports. These reports come in handy while planning the next campaign, realizing the pain points of the customers, identifying the taste and preferences, and so on. This further helps in creating the right campaign for the right target audience.

Microsoft Dynamics gives you options to create Quick Campaigns as well as Marketing Campaigns. A Quick Campaign usually involves a single activity distributed to a list of Contacts, Leads, or Accounts. A Quick Campaign can be created from an advanced find or a marketing list. The activities can be assigned to the owners of the customer records, to a team, a single individual, or added to a Queue. A typical Marketing Campaign, on the other hand, is a longer campaign that encompass multiple activities, contains built-in metrics and can be sent to multiple marketing lists.

Check out the features of the Marketing Campaign option in your Dynamics CRM and how it helps you execute a successful campaign.

1.Marketing lists

You can build custom marketing lists for your unique campaigns with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You can have your sales team prepare the list by adding contact/leads to the list from within the record or create a new list using the Advance Find feature.

2.Campaign activities

After setting the budget and preparing the marketing list, you can track the cost against the budget by adding in new campaign activities. Your activities may vary from phone calls, emails to exhibit fees, postage list purchase, and others. You can add an approximate cost to each activity and it will show you the total cost automatically measured against your budget.

3.Campaign responses

You can also track how well your campaign is performing with the help of Dynamics 365. Campaign responses are designed to determine favorable responses to your campaign, and they will roll up into the Campaign record for easy viewing. You can create responses manually from within the Lead or Contact record, or you can automate a response.

4.Target products

Microsoft Dynamics CRM provides a product catalog for your business to use for targeting the products associated to your campaign. Through this function, your marketing and sales teams can easily see what products are getting the most responses.

5.Price Lists

If you’re planning to include an offer or other special promotion to your campaign, you can utilize the price list function. It allows you to create a discounted price list targeted at your specific campaign.

6.Custom Views

If you have multiple campaigns running at the same time, you can use custom views to see the metrics you want on the Campaigns dashboard. Simply select which columns make sense (like active campaigns in current fiscal year or cost of campaign versus budget allocated) and you can have access to all the necessary details.
